I have some sort of process when writing my texts, but describing it would make my post too lengthy - that could defeat the point of your compliment. In any case, I try to follow two rules: 1) always add new information on the following paragraphs; 2) choose just ONE idea that is going to be repeated in the text.

The first rule allows me to maintain attention and pace. The second one helps me not to make it monotonous or repetitive, which usually happens when you say the same thing over and over again.

I also always get the opinion of a few friends on the draft before submission. They usually point out what might be hard to follow or if the text is too long.
